Later in the afternoon, enjoy a city tour of Lima, where you’ll explore its colonial and modern zones. Wander through the charming streets of the Plaza San Martin and Plaza de Armas, visit the stunning Monastery of San Francisco, and uncover the eerie catacombs beneath the monastery.

Upon arrival in Cusco, we’ll transport you to the Sacred Valley, a serene location 600 meters lower than Cusco, perfect for acclimatizing to the altitude. The day to visit Machu Picchu has arrived! After breakfast, your host will transfer you to Ollantaytambo station for your scenic train ride to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu. The train ride will take you through lush jungle landscapes and along the Vilcanota River, offering a truly unique view of the region.
Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, you’ll board a bus that will take you to the top of the mountain, where the Machu Picchu citadel awaits. Spend two hours exploring the magnificent ruins, learning about the history and mystery of this ancient site from your expert guide.
Afterward, enjoy a delicious lunch in Aguas Calientes before returning to Cusco by train. Your guide will meet you at the train station for a transfer back to your hotel in Cusco, where you can enjoy a relaxing dinner.
