Day 1: Arrival in Cusco – City Tour
We start the tour by welcoming you at the airport and transferring you to your hotel in Cusco. In the afternoon, we will take a City Tour that includes visits to important sites such as Qoricancha, the Temple of the Sun, and the main archaeological sites on the outskirts of the city: Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Tambomachay, and Pucapucara. After the tour, you will return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Moray – Salt Mines – Free Afternoon
At 8:00 a.m., we begin the day with a tour to Chinchero, where you can interact with descendants of the Incas. Afterwards, we will visit the Moray Archaeological Complex and the Maras Salt Mines, where you will observe ancient salt extraction systems. Then, you’ll have free time to explore the town of Maras and taste the typical Andean drink chicha de jora. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to explore Cusco at your own pace.
Day 3: Sacred Valley – Aguas Calientes
The day starts with a tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, visiting the Taray Viewpoint to enjoy panoramic views, and the Pisac Archaeological Complex, famous for its agricultural terraces and Inca cemetery. We then head to Urubamba for a buffet lunch, and finally travel to Ollantaytambo, where we will take the train to Aguas Calientes.
Day 4: Machu Picchu – Cusco
Early in the morning, we board a bus to the Citadel of Machu Picchu, where we will take a guided tour through the main temples, including the Intihuatana and the Temple of the Sun. You will have free time to explore on your own and take panoramic photos. Afterward, we return to Aguas Calientes to board the train back to Ollantaytambo, and from there, a bus back to Cusco.
Day 5: Southern Area – Free Afternoon
We will start the day with a visit to Tipón, where you can see the impressive aqueducts and agricultural terraces. Next, we’ll visit the Pikillacta Archaeological Complex and the Andahuaylillas Chapel, known as the Sistine Chapel of America. At the end of the tour, you will enjoy Cusqueñan cuisine in local towns and have a free afternoon in Cusco.
Day 6: Departure from Cusco
At the scheduled time, our staff will transfer you to the airport for your return flight.
